Can I notarise a document without visiting the notary?
Yes. Dubai Courts offers remote notarisation via video call for many document types; we arrange the session and the Arabic translation.
Do I need a will in the UAE?
Expats with assets in the UAE are strongly advised to register a will so their estate is distributed according to their wishes rather than default rules.
Does a POA need to be in Arabic?
Documents notarised at Dubai Courts must be in Arabic or bilingual. We provide the certified translation.
How long is a POA valid?
Until revoked or the period stated in the document. Some authorities require a POA issued within the last year.
